Amy is a co-Director and co-Owner, teaching in both classrooms. She was raised in Texas where she attended Texas State University. She moved to Seattle in 1992. Before joining Montessori Garden in August of 1995 she spent three years with The Boys & Girls Clubs. She completed her AMS training in 1997. The mother of two boys, she enjoys going to movies and entertaining with her husband.
Megan is a co-Director and co-Owner, teaching in both classrooms. She completed her AMS training in 1998. After working at Montessori Garden from 1998 to 2003, she obtained her BA and Washington State Teaching Credential from Western Washington University. Her interests include exercise, film and travel. She is married and the mother of a son and daughter.
Else attended North Seattle Community College in Early Childhood Education and has worked with children since 1989. Else started at Montessori Garden in June of 1991 as the art teacher. She is a native of Canada, was raised in Denmark, and became a citizen of the United States in 1997. She is married and is the mother of a daughter and a son.
Eric works as the Creative Dramatics teacher and Montessori Assistant. He is a native of Western Pennsylvania. He graduated from Edinboro University with a Bachelors degree in Music Education in 2002, and taught music in New Jersey Public Schools until 2006. Eric currently lives in Fremont, enjoys camping and hiking and is a local musician.
She is originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Annie completed her AMS training in 2016 credential and is teaching in both classrooms. She enjoys camping, drawing, photography, and plays tenor saxophone in a local funk band.
Syddy is the Kids Club program supervisor. Syddy joined Montessori Garden in September of 2015 as a Kids Club staff member. She studied massage therapy at Cortiva Institute of Seattle, and has been a Licensed Massage Practitioner since 2014. Syddy loves art of all kinds, teaching kids about nature, and supporting her community. She lives in Greenwood with her partner Ryan.
A Seattle native he attended Sammamish HS. He has experience working in group childcare as a Camp Counselor for the Dale Turner YMCA. Additionally Owen has worked with children in his church in a variety of roles. He comes from a long line of childcare providers. Owen loves music and attends music festivals all around the globe.
Meg was born in San Diego but grew up in Reno, Nevada. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2014 with a Community Health Sciences major. She is currently enrolled at Eastern Washington University in the Master’s in Public Health program hoping to direct or be part of an administration team for a facility that offers rehabilitation therapies and wellness programs for children. In her spare time she goes to the gym, spends time her dogs, play tennis and write.
