Amy is a co-Director and co-Owner, also teaching in the North classroom. She was raised in Texas where she attended Texas State University. She moved to Seattle in 1992. Before joining Montessori Garden in August of 1995 she spent three years with The Boys & Girls Clubs. She completed her AMS training in 1997. The mother of two boys, she enjoys going to movies and entertaining with her husband.
Megan is a co-Director and co-Owner, also teaching in the South classroom. She completed her AMS training in 1998. After working at Montessori Garden from 1998 to 2003, she obtained her BA and Washington State Teaching Credential from Western Washington University. Her interests include exercise, film and travel. She is married and the mother of a son and daughter.
Else attended North Seattle Community College in Early Childhood Education and has worked with children since 1989. Else started at Montessori Garden in June of 1991 as the art teacher. She is a native of Canada, was raised in Denmark, and became a citizen of the United States in 1997. She is married and is the mother of a daughter and a son.
Eric works as the Creative Dramatics teacher and Montessori Assistant. He is a native of Western Pennsylvania. He graduated from Edinboro University with a Bachelors degree in Music Education in 2002, and taught music in New Jersey Public Schools until 2006. Eric currently lives in Fremont, enjoys camping and hiking and is a local musician.
Annie is the Kids Club program supervisor. She is originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Annie is currently getting her AMS teaching credential and is working as a Montessori intern. She sill work for the 2016-2017 as a student teacher in both classrooms. She enjoys camping, drawing, photography, and plays tenor saxophone.
Syddy joined Montessori Garden in September of 2015 as a Kids Club staff member. She studied massage therapy at Cortiva Institute of Seattle, and has been a Licensed Massage Practitioner since 2014. Syddy loves art of all kinds, teaching kids about nature, and supporting her community. She lives in Greenwood with her partner Ryan.
A Seattle native she attended Nathan Hale HS and Witman College in Walla Walla with a BA in in Gender Studies, Film and Media. She has worked as a nanny and as a DJ at KWCW in Walla Walla.
A Seattle native he attended Sammamish HS. He has experience working in group childcare as a Camp Counselor for the Dale Turner YMCA. Additionally Owen has worked with children in his church in a variety of roles. He comes from a long line of childcare providers.
